Process Engineer
The Process Engineer will take ownership of a defined area within our gas valve manufacturing facility in Nagykanizsa. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring stable, ongoing production by proactively identifying issues, analysing root causes, and implementing effective solutions to maintain required output levels.
You will join a highly skilled engineering team dedicated to developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing methods and processes across parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Leveraging your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing costs, define time standards, and recommend tooling and process improvements for both new product introductions and existing product lines.
This is a key position where you will drive value by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities, while solving complex technical challenges to meet customer requirements and support operational excellence.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide technical support for the assigned production areas, lines or cells
- Deternine / Capture the production process
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the production process related documentation (Process Map, FMEA, Worksintruction)
- Support the preparation of the Control Plan (CP)
- Change management of the production process (approve, introduce, follow up)
- Maintain the process and production line control systems
- Provide data, analisys and reports based on the production line control systems and databases (MES)
- Maintain the SAP production process related elements (BOM, Routing, Production Version)
- Support the improvements, and productivity projects on the assigned production area
- Support the root cause analysis/repair activity in case of serious machine break down.
- Responsible to define and analyse the root cause of the non conformities, and prepare suggestion for correction.
- Participation in the escalation process, with the authoritazion defined in the process desciption
- Support the analysis of the customer complaints
- Support the creation and execution of the TPM, also partizipation in the spare part list definition
- Maintain and the improve the Operation Support Department related IIR ducuments
- Develop professional relationship with other departments and suppliers (R&D, Test and Automatin, Quality, Production, SDE, HSE, Maintenance, SIOP, Sourcing)
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering processes
- Proven experience in a Process, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering role (or similar)
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements within a manufacturing environment
