Process Improvement, Specialist

Core Responsibilities

1. Applies functional expertise to identify, analyze, and make recommendations to improve business processes.

2. Analyzes process improvement data and uses key metrics to recommend process or quality improvements and measure outcomes.

3. Supports process improvement initiatives from inception through implementation, ensuring deadlines are met.

4. Maintains documentation to support analysis and improvement including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and gap/problem analyses.

5. Develops effective working relationships with internal clients and key stakeholders.

6. Supports the development of training materials and activities to support new processes and procedures.

7. Coordinates follow-up meetings for project teams using process improvement tools to ensure work is completed and improvements are maintained.

8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • Minimum of three years related work experience.
  • Process improvement certification (i.e. McKinsey Lean training, Six Sigma certification) preferred.
