About the Team <\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Operations is responsible for supporting the various trading, investment and reporting activities of the firm. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>The core mission of the Operations group is to establish scalable investment workflows, ensure a controlled operating<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> environment and deliver high\-quality client service to both internal and external business relationships<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>. In addition to supporting primary investment related activities, the groups assist in the design and<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> implementation of firm\-wide projects, operational due diligence, counterparty management and client <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> related activities. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> The Reporting group focuses on managing the onboarding and maintenance of investor accounts. They provide transactional and reporting support to clients and various internal departments. The group acts as an intermediary between the Front Office and Back Office, fielding a myriad of questions and inquiries. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> In addition to being the liaison between internal groups, the group delivers high quality client service to external business relationships. The group helps build scalable investment workflows and assists in the design and implementation of firm\-wide projects, operational due diligence, counterparty management and client\-related activities. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> The Reporting group comprises three teams: Client Reporting, CARCAT, and Tax Reporting. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Client Reporting is responsible for preparing reports for both internal and external business relationships. Data is collected from internal systems and e\-mail confirmations and may be presented in either numerical or graphical format or in a qualitative information state. Reports are created, checked, and delivered to the stakeholders as agreed in the IMA. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> CARCAT manages the onboarding and maintenance of investor accounts and relationships in the <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>system.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Tax Reporting is responsible for providing Quarterly reporting to our investors in the Tax strategy. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>The group also monitors the changes in an investor\u2019s account monthly through the reconciliation process<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> As needed, members of the group may be assigned to be involved in or lead process reviews and/or improvement projects that may increase the efficiency of the group.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> General Responsibilities (Reporting):<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Process Lead is expected to manage deliverable distribution and understand groups\u2019 capacity. Process Lead is expected to show mastery of his/her process group hence would act as a preparer and <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>reviewer of all reports submitted by his/her team member. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Process Lead must ensure that issues and escalations are addressed in a timely and decisive manner. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Ensure proper communications are sent in a timely manner. He / She is accountable that all reports and<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> deliverables are completed or handed off properly. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Lead meetings and trainings efficiently, may it be scheduled or ad\-hoc. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Ensure all emails are read and actioned daily and that all members are aware of the standard procedure<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> of a proper hand off, both offshore and onshore. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Monitor and record the progress of team members. He / She should be able to recognize and fairly assess team<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> member\u2019s performance and output. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Ensure completeness of process documentation. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Process Lead is expected to collaborate with peers to drive efforts in the development of new tools and <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>/ or process improvements for the team; Liaise with groups necessary for the team\u2019s requirements. Any related process as required by the team. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Core Duties and Responsibilities (Client Reporting): <\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Prepare the team\u2019s work allocation before the reporting cycle and train team members in preparation for the next<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> reporting cycle. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Monitor members\u2019 performance and provide relevant process training to achieve process excellence. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Guide the team to ensure all relevant data requirements are coordinated with internal and external information<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> suppliers, as needed and in accordance with the schedule. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Prepare and / or validate the accuracy of Financial Reports sent to the clients. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Monitor completion of the deliverables on various platforms and ensure end\-of\-day status of deliverables is<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
