Position Title: Procurement Administrator
Location: Assembly Drive, Rockford, IL 61109
Shift: 1st Shift
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.
- Assist Procurement in administrative functions.
- Supporting with requesting quotations.
- Raising purchase requisitions for the various departments
- Chasing up purchase order confirmations.
- Support and assist various departments with ordering.
- Issue and update maintain Open Purchase Order Reports
- Issue cancellation/Deferment and expedite reports
- Supporting with monthly analysis of customer forecasted order reports to determine what packaging is required for ordering.
- Interact and communicate daily with staff and support departments.
- To undertake such tasks and to manage specific or ad hoc projects as and when required to meet department and business needs and within the scope of the job-holder’s capabilities.
- Ensure safe work practices are being always followed, report any near misses immediately to the EHS Department.
- Carry out various other additional tasks that may be required from time to time in accordance with the overall goal of the company.

Required:
- Basic Mathematical Skills
- Bachelor’s or associate degree or Diploma / Certificate in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar. May substitute experience in lieu of educational requirements.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in similar function
- Capability to set clear goals, communicate these clearly and ensure progress to completion meeting predefined targets.
Desirable:
- ERP/MRP experience SAP/JDE/Oracle
- Excel Intermediate level experience, Examples Pivot Tables and Look ups
Preferred:
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Ability to hold oneself in a professional manner.
- Ability to display a willingness to make decisions.
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments.
For Illinois residents: the hiring rate for this position is $56,720.00 to $63,810.00 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
