Procurement/Buyer JR. HYBRID

The Procurement Services Analyst will be responsible for coordinating procurement requests such as a new purchase, spare re-assignment, renewal of contract or extension of maintenance agreement. The Analyst will also be responsible for invoicing activities in some regions.

This role will involve liaising with all business personnel and other groups with Global Procurement, 3rd party vendors, internal IT support, Finance, Accounting, A/P and executive procurement approvers to ensure proper management and control of administration and processing are adhered to within a streamlined and centralized framework.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve processes even further to continue to meet and align with team and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for ensuring overall client satisfaction whilst meeting Conduent's global audit, compliance, risk and control requirements.

Overall This Includes:

  • End to end IT procurement process accountability including relationship management, request management and escalations
  • Work with other internal & external teams to effectively control procurement requests
  • Move the procurement request through the process as quickly and effectively as possible
  • Identify opportunities to improve the process through partnership with other teams
  • Effectively follow up with clients in a timely, professional manner. Manage relationship of clients throughout the procurement process
  • Follow up with internal and external parties when activities go beyond their expected duration
  • Manage selected Corporate Executive relationships and provide back-up for others
  • Assist with balancing teamwork load
  • Develop and maintain end to end process for tracking turnaround times of deliverables from team and other processing areas

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience with client service and management of internal and client expectations
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong procurement or finance background and/or desire to understand the process
  • Experience of working within a strong regulatory/control environment
  • Experience with SAP Ariba Procurement tool

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration/economics, or equivalent, with a good general academic background
  • Computer skills and office package experience
  • English proficient (B2 Advanced or higher)
