Position Summary
Are you ready to make a lasting impact on global procurement? As our Purchasing Development Manager– Risk, you’ll drive innovation and excellence across the group-wide procurement risk process. This is your opportunity to shape how we manage supplier risk, enhance operational resilience, and deliver smarter tools and processes that keep our supply chain strong.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Group Procurement Risk, championing continuous improvement, executive reporting, and the rollout of transformative change programs. From developing new tools to leading training initiatives, your work will empower teams across all divisions to operate with confidence and precision.

What you will be doing
Support the development, improvement and deployment of global purchasing risk processes, policies, templates and tools, ensuring that they are fully integrated into the company's operating system(s)Defining and leading all Risk governance for the function.
Support the communication and execution of the strategy and policies relating to Procurement Risk
Support and co-ordinate operational reporting and data integrity
Support the development and deployment of functional change management projects across the Procurement function
Provide structure and governance to ensure the effective deployment of projects. Must be able to develop comprehensive workable issue solutions in complex situations
Nurture effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the function to implement functional priorities
Drive action across the group to increase supply chain resilience, minimise EBIT at risk and ensure a rapid response to arising incidents.
Playing an active role in horizon scanning for any potential arising internal or external risks affecting the supply chain or internal procurement function
Working closely with the wider Compliance, Risk & Assurance team to understand any macro level risks and capture these within the Group Procurement Risk Management framework.
Position qualifications
A global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working.
Experience with SCRM (Supply Chain Risk Management), Business Continuity Management, and financial risk.
Execution focussed with a results and delivery mindset
Experience of influencing and building relationships
Proven delivery of managing change programmes, embedding core standards and new ways of working.
Experience in Procurement roles and working practices.
Programme management skills and experience.
