Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Procurement Executive to manage procurement activities for the Defense Business Vertical. The role involves handling end\-to\-end procurement coordination, SAP process support, supplier and cross\-functional coordination, reporting and analytics, and continuous process improvement in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate should possess strong procurement domain knowledge, SAP process understanding, analytical capability, and experience working with cross\-functional teams in a global business environment.

Key Responsibilities
<\/h1>

Procurement Operations
<\/h2>
  • Manage procurement activities for the Defense business vertical.
    <\/li>
  • Support end\-to\-end procurement processes including material planning, purchase coordination, supplier follow\-up, and delivery tracking.
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely material availability for projects and production requirements.
    <\/li>
  • Support procurement activities aligned with quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
    <\/li><\/ul>

    SAP & Process Coordination
    <\/h2>
    • Understand business requirements related to SAP procurement processes and communicate system capabilities effectively to business teams.
      <\/li>
    • Support internal teams in resolving day\-to\-day SAP and procurement\-related operational issues.
      <\/li>
    • Work closely with cross\-functional teams (CFTs) for:
      • GRN (Goods Receipt Note)
        <\/li>
      • IQC (Incoming Quality Control)
        <\/li>
      • Payment coordination
        <\/li>
      • Blocked stock clearance
        <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
      • Ensure process compliance and smooth transaction flow within ERP/SAP systems.
        <\/li><\/ul>

        Process Improvement & Systems Support
        <\/h2>
        • Contribute ideas and best practices for procurement process improvements and system optimization.
          <\/li>
        • Conceptualize and support implementation of procurement industry best practices through systems and process enhancements.
          <\/li>
        • Coordinate with stakeholders to improve procurement efficiency and operational effectiveness.

          Reporting & Analytics
          <\/h2>
          • Generate procurement metrics, project performance reports, and forecast analysis using:
            • MS Excel
              <\/li>
            • Power BI
              <\/li>
            • Other reporting tools
              <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
            • Analyze historical and monthly data to support procurement planning and decision\-making.
              <\/li>
            • Provide timely reports, dashboards, and metrics to management and project leads.
              <\/li><\/ul>

              Cross\-Functional & Global Coordination
              <\/h2>
              • Work collaboratively with finance, quality, stores, planning, and project teams.
                <\/li>
              • Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders across multiple time zones.
                <\/li>
              • Ensure timely communication and issue resolution with suppliers and internal departments.

                      Experience

                      • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or ERP support roles, preferably in:
                        • Defense industry

                        • Manufacturing industry

                        • EMS environment

                          Technical Skills

                          • Strong knowledge of:
                            • Procurement processes and supply chain operations

                            • SAP procurement modules and ERP systems

                            • Finance and procurement domain concepts
