PROCUREMENT MANAGER

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing and supply chain operations within our project\-based environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, cost reduction, Import purchases, Customs clearance and inventory management with a focus on project execution.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines for project\-based needs.(Electro\-mechanical Projects)
<\/li> - Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure the best terms for project requirements.
<\/li> - Handle import purchases and customs clearance
<\/li> - Ensure timely procurement of materials and services necessary for successful project execution.
<\/li> - Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure alignment with project deadlines.
<\/li> - Collaborate with respective project departments, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project objectives.
<\/li> - Manage procurement budgets and track cost savings initiatives related to project expenses.
<\/li> - Develop and enforce policies and procedures for procurement activities to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
<\/li> - Implement and oversee inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize storage for project\-specific materials.
<\/li> - Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging supply chain technologies.
<\/li> - Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:<\/b>
<\/div>- Bachelor\u2019s degree / in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
<\/li> - Minimum 6 to 8 years of procurement experience with a focus on project\-based procurement.
<\/li> - Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.
<\/li> - In\-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation within project settings.
<\/li> - Proficiency inTally / ERP systems and procurement software.
<\/li> - Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
<\/li> - Experience with project procurement methodologies and risk management.
<\/li> - Knowledge of international sourcing is a plus must.
