Procurement Specialist
Role: Procurement Specialist
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Pay Rate: $35/hr to $49/hr.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage demand forecasts and procurement of equipment and materials.
- Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and resolve supply issues.
- Coordinate material deliveries, receiving, and purchase order closure.
- Track project schedules, payment milestones, and supplier commitments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to ensure timely project execution.
- Support invoice reconciliation, cost tracking, and budget compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of procurement, supply chain, or commodity management experience.
- Experience with electrical equipment or industrial components preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
