What you'll own:<\/b>

Supplier Discovery<\/i>
<\/p>

  • For any ingredient, raw material, or packaging requirement \u2014 find a minimum of 4\u20135 qualified vendors within 48 hours
    <\/li>
  • Build and maintain a live supplier database covering cosmetic raw materials, active ingredients, packaging (bottles, jars, boxes, labels, inserts), and contract manufacturing options in Pakistan
    <\/li>
  • Know where the markets are \u2014 Karachi chemical markets, Lahore packaging suppliers, import agents \u2014 and have active relationships inside them
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Supplier Comparison & Decision Support<\/i>
    <\/p>

    • For every sourcing decision, produce a clear comparison \u2014 price per unit, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, quality certifications, sample availability
      <\/li>
    • Give the founder enough data to make a confident decision fast \u2014 no more choosing from one or two options
      <\/li>
    • Maintain records of every vendor approached, quoted, and used \u2014 build institutional knowledge that doesn't live only in one person's head
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Negotiation<\/i>
      <\/p>

      • Own all supplier negotiations end to end \u2014 price, MOQ, payment terms, delivery timelines
        <\/li>
      • Never accept the first price. Always push back. Always find the ceiling
        <\/li>
      • As our volume grows, renegotiate existing supplier agreements to reflect it
        <\/li>
      • Identify where we are overpaying right now and fix it
        <\/li><\/ul>

        Supplier Relationships<\/i>
        <\/p>

        • Be the primary contact for all raw material and packaging suppliers
          <\/li>
        • Build relationships that give us priority when supply is tight and leverage when we need to push back
          <\/li>
        • Evaluate supplier reliability over time \u2014 who delivers on time, who cuts corners, who is worth growing with
          <\/li><\/ul>

          Requirements<\/h3>

          Must have:<\/b>
          <\/p>

          • Active, existing network of suppliers in Pakistan's cosmetic raw material and packaging markets \u2014 not theoretical knowledge, real relationships
            <\/li>
          • Has negotiated supplier deals before and can demonstrate results \u2014 better prices, better terms, lower MOQs
            <\/li>
          • Can find multiple vendors for any requirement quickly \u2014 this is the core skill
            <\/li>
          • Comfortable building and presenting supplier comparisons in a simple format the founder can act on
            <\/li>
          • Based in or willing to travel to Karachi and Lahore supplier markets regularly
            <\/li><\/ul>

            Strong plus:<\/b>
            <\/p>

            • Has sourced cosmetic\-grade actives specifically \u2014 niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, zinc oxide, ceramides
              <\/li>
            • Knows the import process for ingredients not available locally
              <\/li>
            • Has worked with small brands and understands how to negotiate when you don't have volume leverage yet
              <\/li>
            • Has relationships with reliable contract manufacturers in Pakistan
              <\/li><\/ul>

              What this role is not:<\/b> This is not a corporate procurement role with formal PO systems and quarterly reviews. We need someone who moves fast, knows the markets personally, and wins negotiations. Systems come later. Speed and network come first.
