Product Configuration Team Lead

As part a Verisk Analytics, a global leader in data analytics and insurance technology—the Configuration Supervisor provides senior, hands-on technical leadership in delivering high-quality Rulebook solutions while supporting a growing Poland-based team.

The role combines advanced analytics capabilities, contributing to a market-leading, end-to-end platform for insurance and reinsurance operations. Key responsibilities include mentoring configurators, building strong team foundations, and ensuring consistent onboarding and development—bridging technical delivery with people leadership to support continued growth and capability expansion.

Technical Delivery

  • Translate business requirements into high-quality Rulebook configurations and solutions.
  • Contribute hands-on to configuration, design, documentation, and testing.
  • Ensure alignment with project methodologies and development standards.
  • Support UAT, deployment, and client implementations to deliver expected outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Consultants and Delivery Leads to shape effective solutions.
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication and problem-solving.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including demos and proof of concepts.

Team Leadership

  • Line manage a Poland-based configuration team (4–5 reports).
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team capability.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and provide regular feedback.
  • Allocate work, monitor delivery, and maintain team performance and morale.
  • Lead onboarding and ensure consistent training standards

Internal Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between Poland and UK Product, Delivery, and Consulting teams.
  • Contribute to internal meetings, stand-ups, and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide feedback to Product Management on client needs and improvement opportunities.

Knowledge, Experience & Attributes

  • Experience with low-code, configuration, or pricing systems, and delivering software within structured SDLC (Agile/Waterfall).
  • Proven team leadership or line management experience, with the ability to motivate, develop, and guide others.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Effective communicator who builds trust, influences stakeholders, and demonstrates professional credibility.
  • Highly organised and resilient, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with development tools (e.g., ASP.NET) and languages (e.g., Python) is an advantage.
