ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting time to join Cricket Australia. We have created a new Product Designer role within our Digital & Technology team to help shape the digital experiences that connect millions of fans and participants with the game of cricket.

Working across our products, you’ll design intuitive, accessible and engaging experiences across mobile and web. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and business stakeholders to understand customer needs, explore opportunities and bring design solutions to life.

Reporting to the Senior Experience Design Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Designing user-centred digital experiences across mobile and web, from discovery through to delivery.

  • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs using tools such as Figma.

  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions and support delivery.

  • Using customer insights, research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve the user experience.

  • Contributing to design systems, accessibility standards and consistent interaction patterns across Cricket Australia’s digital products.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2–3 years’ experience in product design, UX/UI design or a similar digital design role.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in design

  • Experience designing digital products across mobile and/or web.

  • Strong working knowledge of Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite and Jira.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates your design process, problem solving and ability to create thoughtful user experiences.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly and confidently.

  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Research and business stakeholders.

  • A user-centred mindset, with an interest in customer research, usability testing and accessibility.

  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to keep learning and improving your craft.

  • An interest in sport, entertainment, digital products or fan experiences would be highly regarded.
