Product Designer
You will conduct research and analysis to become an expert in the relevant domain and customer segment. You will own product specifications, information architecture, user flows and overall user experience. You will build rapid UX prototypes, test and iterate designs, deliver polished UI visual designs and animations, and collaborate with engineering to review builds and ensure the final product meets design expectations. You will also contribute to improving design practices, process and tooling, and support sales and customer success with product release needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis to become an expert in the domain and customer segment
- Own product specifications, information architecture, user flows and user experience
- Build and test rapid UX prototypes to validate and iterate design hypotheses
- Deliver UI visual designs, transitions and animations to a best-in-class standard
- Liaise with engineering to support development, review builds and ensure design fidelity
- Improve design practice, process and tooling including the design system
- Collaborate with sales and customer success to meet product marketing needs for releases
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in product or commercial UX/UI design
- Proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity designs and prototypes
- Human-centered design approach and research skills
- Strong communication skills to explain design choices
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to work autonomously and seek help when needed
- Passion for design and a hunger for learning and growth
- Strong written and verbal English and basic proficiency in Chinese
