Validation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • 4+yrs Experience with Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics

  • Responsible for the quality of the bench tests

  • Execution of bench test according to char/validation plan

  • Documentation of performed tests and results, guarantee traceability.

  • Proper archiving of char/test data and docs.

  • Execute tasks according planning, find solutions to keep the planning on track.

  • Drive improvements test/char efficiency and quality of the measurements

  • Drive improvement of efficiency and reproducibility (e.g. by automation)

  • Development of new bench test methods and bench test hardware

  • Competitor analyses

  • Electrical analysis of application related customer complaints and requests

  • Roadmap/vision/capex: coordinate all equipment related activities e.g. purchase, registration, calibration (tracking & reporting of the calibration status) and maintenance.

  • Guide and steer peers in APx SLA teams.

Skills

Hard Skills:

  • LabView

  • Know how to operate Electrical Lab equipment (Power supplies, Pulse&Signal Generators, Digital Scoop, etc)

Soft Skills:

  • Show initiative, take ownership and have an entrepreneurial attitude

  • Have customer orientation and quality mindset

  • Possesses Analytical Skills and ability to apply pragmatic approaches

  • Communication skills in English
