Product Lead, Core Product

About us

Forus is building an AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate new science to patients.

Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation. We provide this support free to doctors and patients, helping them get life-changing medicine faster, cheaper, and easier. The resulting network enables biopharma companies to design better research, launch new drugs more effectively, and invest in harder-to-treat conditions.

Forus has exceptional product-market fit and is growing rapidly through organic adoption:

  • Accelerating scale: We already support patients across more than 80% of ZIP codes and partner with 5 of the 10 largest biopharma companies in the world.

  • AI-native, durable model: Our business becomes stronger as AI improves, as every new doctor, patient, and partner makes the network more valuable.

  • Backing to build for the long term: We raised $160M+ from leading investors to build an exceptional team and unlock the full scale of the opportunity.

Our number one priority is scaling to market demand. We are looking for individuals who are high horsepower, high throughput, and hyper resourceful to help us increase capacity and grow. We move fast and need to move faster.

If we succeed, science will be the only limit to medicine.

All full-time roles are in person in New York.

About the role

As the Core Product Lead on our team, you will own the end-to-end experience for the providers and patients who use our platform. Your goal will be to make Forus feel deeply tailored to how each practice works while building a product that can scale across thousands of providers, different specialties, and increasingly complex organizations. Your goal will be to ensure our product and network grows exponentially through user love and word-of-mouth.

You will develop a detailed understanding of what users are experiencing—both across the network and at the level of individual practices, workflows, and interactions. You will build direct relationships with providers and patients, establish tight quantitative and qualitative feedback loops, and make users feel like active partners in developing the product. You will translate that understanding into a clear product direction and ship improvements at an unusually fast cadence, with a high bar for usability, craft, and operational reliability.

This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to “act like an owner” and commit yourself to Forus' success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.

If you join, you will:

  • Own the provider and patient experience end-to-end, including activation, engagement, retention, satisfaction, and referral growth

  • Develop a deep understanding of how the experience varies across individual practices, provider organizations, specialties, workflows, and patient populations

  • Build sustained relationships with users and design partners, working alongside them to identify problems, test ideas, and shape what Forus builds next

  • Define and analyze the metrics, instrumentation, and feedback loops needed to understand where users struggle, what drives value, and how the product is performing at both the aggregate and account level

  • Lead product development from discovery through launch and iteration, moving quickly from ambiguous user problems to shipped improvements

  • Set a high bar for product design, information architecture, copy, and the details of everyday workflows, in close partnership with design and engineering

  • Partner closely with operations, support, growth, and enterprise teams to translate real-world complexity into simple, scalable product experiences

We’re looking for you if you have:

  • 3–10 years of product or startup experience, with a track record of owning user-facing, workflow-heavy products from discovery through iteration

  • Unyielding commitment to understanding user needs and what really matters to inform your work

  • Strong product sense, design taste, and copy instincts — you can shape flows, interfaces, and language that convert and resonate

  • Analytical instincts and the technical ability to investigate product behavior directly using SQL, Python, or similar tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication that allows you to be an effective participant in both internal debates and external relationships

  • Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals

  • High NPS with your former teammates

This is a list of ideal qualifications for this position. If you don't meet every single one of them, you should still consider applying! We’re excited to work with people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
