Product Manager, Accounts

You own one core accounts surface end to end including KYC identity verification and account types such as entity, joint, custodial, or trust, as well as sub-accounts and IRA cross-work. You run discovery with partners and translate findings into a prioritized backlog. You ship to production at a high cadence, write clear PRDs, align with engineering on API contracts, and produce partner facing documentation. You partner with compliance and legal on decisions that touch licensing, KYC AML, identity verification, and account-model design, while shipping in parallel in a regulated environment. You improve operational efficiency through tooling, automation of repetitive tasks, and exception handling, and you own the metrics. You track onboarding funnel health, API adoption, time-to-first-funded-account, verification pass rates, and blockers, and you iterate on docs, SDK ergonomics, and rollout sequencing until adoption is strong. You report status and results to internal and external stakeholders, including partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own one core accounts surface end to end including KYC identity verification and sub accounts multi accounts or IRA cross work
  • Run discovery with partners and translate findings into a sequenced backlog
  • Ship to production at a high cadence and define API contracts with clear partner documentation
  • Partner with compliance and legal on licensing and account model design while shipping in a regulated environment
  • Improve operational efficiency through tooling automation and exception handling
  • Track adoption beyond GA including onboarding funnel health API adoption time to first funded account and blockers
  • Report status and results to internal and external stakeholders including partners

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management Engineering Consulting or starting a startup preferably in brokerage fintech or identity accounts infrastructure
  • Demonstrated depth on at least one accounts surface such as KYC identity verification account types sub accounts or IRA shipped to production scale
  • Experience shipping B2B developer facing products including SDKs APIs and partner integrations
  • Comfort shipping in parallel with compliance and legal in a regulated environment
  • Experience analyzing data using SQL and a BI tool
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering finance or equivalent
  • Business acumen to weigh stakeholder tech feasibility time and budget tradeoffs
