The Global Ad Technology Department (GATD) manages the whole of the advertising systems that power Rakuten. We are a cross-functional and data-driven organization working together in a diverse team spread across five countries: Japan, Singapore, India, China and UK.

We are looking for a Product Manager for the digital marketing platform such as DMP, Tracking, Reporting and Data Sync. You will be responsible for working with the marketing team and business product teams to develop digital marketing initiatives to contribute to Rakuten Ichiba's growth, devising technical solutions and working with each development teams to drive platform development.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the product vision/mission and strategy. Also, define product roadmap and leading it.

  • Analyze and identify essential business issues for customers and sales/product teams, and reflect the right solutions into platform to resolve issues.

  • Understand business requirements, goals and KPIs and collaborate with multiple technical teams inside and outside Rakuten to lead platform development to meet business requirements.

  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders on the business side with different knowledge and backgrounds to identify the functional requirements for the marketing platform.

  • Investigate the cutting-edge ad technology, industry trends and volatile business environment.

  • Partner with a program manager and delivery managers in prioritization and planning for solution development (backlog management).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organizational and cross-border teams to integrate with internal and external systems, platforms, and services.

  • Drive or participate in technology vendor discussions, evaluations, and selections.

  • Manage product level budget and cost
