Product Manager - Sound & Vibration

The position: Product Manager S&V, Solution Portfolio Sound & Vibration

We are currently looking for a Product Manager, Sound & Vibration, to join our Global Product Management organisation, reporting to the Head of Solution Portfolio S&V.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the value to be delivered for specific products and/or releases, owning the portfolio & roadmap and defining the business value within your product portfolio in a dynamic and motivated team, serving a high potential area of technology. You will work closely together with customers and with key stakeholders across Product Management, Sales, Operations and R&D to ensure HBK remains at the forefront of innovation in the short, mid and long term.

This role is well suited to an experienced individual who is used to managing a complex product portfolio and driving continued business growth. You will be granted autonomy to have a true impact on the commercial direction of HBK, whilst working with some highly skilled colleagues and customers.

Primary responsibilities

  • Developing market by identifying potential products; growing close to customers; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifica­tions, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies.

  • Contributing to the P&L for the Product Line

  • Defining the value to be delivered for specific products or releases

  • Lifecycle management of Products

  • Promotion calendar and context coordination

  • Defining the product line roadmap based on input from market managers.

  • New product introduction objectives, priorities and execution

  • Business Case development incl. pricing strategy

Professional qualifications

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Extensive experience within a similar role in Product Management, Commercial, Engineering etc.

  • Engineering knowledge and experience, preferably within DAQ and Sound & Vibration

  • Previous experience working on an interna­tional and ideally global scale

  • Strong communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Solution driven attitude with a creative mindset

  • Strong focus on value creation

  • Very high level of integrity in everything you do
