Product Manager

As a Product Manager at Yokogawa Netherlands B.V., you serve as the strategic bridge between market needs and our industrial automation solutions. Based at our European headquarters in Amersfoort, you will drive the lifecycle of our product portfolio, ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of the energy transition and industrial digital transformation. Your goal is to translate complex customer challenges into clear product roadmaps that deliver sustainable value.
A Day in Your Life
You will start your day collaborating with regional sales teams to understand emerging market trends, followed by a session with technical specialists to refine product specifications. Your afternoon might involve analyzing competitive intelligence or preparing a business case for a new feature launch. You act as the internal champion for your product line, balancing long-term strategic planning with the immediate need to support the commercial organization in high-value pursuits.
Key Challenges
The industrial landscape is shifting rapidly toward autonomous operations and sustainable energy. Your primary challenge will be navigating this complexity—prioritizing development efforts in a high-mix environment and ensuring our legacy of precision, dating back to 1915, integrates seamlessly with modern cloud and AI-driven technologies. You must influence stakeholders across different functions without direct authority to ensure product-market fit.
Growth & Career Opportunities
Yokogawa encourages a culture of continuous learning. In this role, you will gain deep exposure to the European industrial market and global product development cycles. Whether you aim to deepen your expertise in specific technology domains or transition into broader strategic marketing leadership, we provide the platform for international career progression within our European and global networks.
Team & Culture
You will join a diverse Product Marketing team characterized by intellectual curiosity and a collaborative spirit. Our culture blends the disciplined, quality-focused heritage of our Japanese roots with the open, innovative, and flexible working style of our Netherlands headquarters. We value transparency, initiative, and a shared commitment to solving the world’s most pressing industrial and environmental challenges.
Who You Are
You are a commercially-minded professional with a technical foundation who enjoys turning data into actionable strategy. You possess the communication skills to explain complex value propositions to both engineers and C-suite executives. You are proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and driven by the desire to see your product strategies manifest as successful market solutions.
What You'll Do & What You Bring
→ You will manage the full product lifecycle, from market requirement gathering to end-of-life strategies. → You will develop and execute go-to-market plans, including pricing strategies and sales enablement tools. → You bring a proven track record in product management or strategic marketing within the industrial or technology sectors. → You possess strong analytical skills to evaluate market share, profitability, and competitive positioning. → You hold a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, with the ability to work effectively in an international, English-speaking environment.
Why Join Now
This is a pivotal moment to join Yokogawa as we accelerate our transition into a solution-provider for the global energy shift.
