Product Operation Manager
Yandex is looking for a Product Operation Manager to support product development and manufacturing projects in China. You will work with project teams throughout the product development cycle, from concept to production. You will also collaborate with manufacturing partners, assess technical and business risks, and help implement measures to support project goals. Operational oversight
You will monitor project execution at manufacturing sites, identify operational bottlenecks and potential risks, and develop contingency plans to support stable operations and timely project delivery. Reporting and risk management
You will prepare regular performance reports, track project budgets, production capacity, and build status, and communicate critical risks and mitigation plans to project stakeholders. Build support
You will manage on-site collaboration with manufacturing partners during development builds, support risk mitigation activities, and help ensure successful ramp-up and on-time delivery. Process support
You will lead and support process improvement initiatives for internal teams and manufacturing partners. In addition, you will review, audit, and monitor operational processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and process control.* Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher; a degree in engineering (mechanical, software, or hardware engineering) is preferred, and an MBA will be an advantage * Have 8+ years of experience working with consumer electronics products, components, and manufacturing processes * Have 5+ years of experience working with leading mobile, PC, TV, or other consumer technology companies * Have experience in the smart home industry and understand key trends across smart home ecosystems, including chipsets, protocols, modules, devices, and platform providers * Are interested in learning new technologies and expanding your industry knowledge * Pay close attention to detail and are ready to take ownership of operational tasks * Are fluent in English and can communicate effectively with global teams and external partners * Are based in Shenzhen
