What you’ll be doing

Join CIBC’s Product Positioning and Research Team for an immersive and dynamic fall co-op experience. As a Product Strategy and Research Analyst, you will be at the heart of our asset management business, supporting the development of competitive intelligence frameworks and gaining hands-on exposure to a wide range of investment strategies. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Strategy, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams; including sales, marketing, and portfolio management to analyze competitive landscape, craft compelling narratives for our sales team, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Every day will offer a unique learning opportunity, from participating in key business meetings to connecting the dots across different functions. You’ll develop advanced skills in Excel and Power BI, deepen your understanding of the asset management industry, and play a role in shaping the future of our product suite.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $50,840 to $59,350.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education to be eligible, however, you do not need to be in a registered Co-op program to be considered for this role
