You\u2019ll assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising activities across multiple production sections \u2014 from planting right through to harvesting.

- Coordinate activities including planting, pruning, fertigation, harvesting, and pest/disease control<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Monitor crop maturity and production targets<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>- Assist in planning and executing production schedules<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Team Support & Supervision<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>- Support supervisors overseeing various farm sections<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Assist with staff coordination and performance tracking<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Ensure adherence to safety standards and work procedures
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Administration & Reporting<\/span><\/span><\/b>

<\/span><\/span><\/h3>Qualifications & Experience<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/div>- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Additional agricultural certifications (e.g. irrigation, scouting, plant production) will be advantageous<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Minimum 2 years\u2019 relevant farm production experience<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Practical knowledge of crop production processes (from land preparation to harvesting and maintenance)
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Technical Skills<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/h4>- Solid understanding of horticulture and fruit production<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Knowledge of good agricultural practices<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Basic understanding of labour legislation, health & safety, and farm operations<\/span>
