Production Controller / Scheduler

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand

  • Oversee daily production operations and ensure smooth execution

  • Align capacity with materials, labour, and machinery availability

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material flow

  • Track production performance and report on key KPIs

  • Implement and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Engineering teams

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and delivery milestones

  • Troubleshoot production issues in coordination with Engineering

  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost, and quality

Requirements

  • Min 2 years experience in production planning, operations or manufacturing. Experience working with ERP systems.

  • Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering, Production or related field. Exposure to manufacturing or mechanical engineering environment (desirable).

  • Strong analytical skills (production cycle time, costs, inventory). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in English for business communication, documentation, and system usage. Ability to communicate in additional local language(s) is an advantage.
