Production Data Specialist-Seasonal

The Production Data Specialist (PDS)<\/b> is responsible for\nensuring the absolute integrity and accuracy of finished goods production data.\nServing as the primary point of contact for assigned plants, this role involves\nmeticulous review, verification, and correction of shipping documentation for\nboth Full Container Loads (FCL) and Less than Container Loads (LCL). By\nbridging the gap between plant\-level operations and corporate logistics, the\nPDS ensures that internal systems reflect real\-world inventory and shipments\naccurately and efficiently.<\/span>
<\/p>

To be successful in this role, an individual must be a\ndetail\-oriented "point person" capable of resolving complex\ndiscrepancies between physical paperwork and internal systems like IMS and VMS.\nSuccess requires a proactive approach to communication, as the specialist must\nbridge the gap between plant\-level operations and corporate logistics to\nmaximize operational efficiency. Ultimately, the ideal candidate will maintain\na high level of accountability for data cleanliness, ensuring that inventory\nand shipping records are verified, current, and audit\-ready at all times.<\/span>

Essential Functions/Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>
<\/p>

The responsibilities of the position\ninclude the following:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Act as the point person for assigned plants as\nscheduled by Regional Logistics Coordinator. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Stay current on plant shipping paperwork and\ncorrections for both Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load\n(LCL) per corporate SOPs. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Cross\-check documents against the internal IMS system\nand verify all product information. Resolve all discrepancies found in\npaperwork and the IMS. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Move verified shipments to the correct workflow in the\nVMS and scanned documents into the proper OneDrive folders. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Send daily paperwork and Bill of Lading (BOL)\ncorrection emails to the plant and carrier companies as applicable. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Work with QA and data checkers to ensure all samples\nand LCL are properly documented and recorded.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain knowledge of the Load Plan, including which\nproducts load together and the required container types. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor corporate shipping and plant data chats on\nMicrosoft Teams to address general queries. Assist with the creation and\nmaintenance of standardized shipping documents and BOL templates. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Clear out the Shipment Builder and archive plant\nshipping paperwork and photos in OneDrive. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor inventory and van records in various workflows\nto eliminate false or empty records that impact auto\-generated reports. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Edit and correct label records for incorrect\ninformation such as tare, gross weight, or glazes. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Create records as necessary for unique sales orders,\nsuch as sujiko or WASS. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist the Logistics team as necessary, including\ncovering for fellow PDS staff. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Keep immediate supervisors fully informed concerning\nwork progress, potential problems, and suggestions for improvements. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Other\nduties as assigned by the Corporate Logistics Manager or Regional Logistics Coordinator.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Process\nOptimization: <\/span><\/b>Skilled in\ndeveloping and maintaining standardized shipping templates and SOPs to enhance\nseasonal operational readiness. <\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Inventory\nControl:<\/span><\/b> Proficiency\nin managing complex sales order records and ensuring all physical samples match\ndigital inventory logs.<\/span>

Education and\nExperience<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Previous experience in a data\-intensive logistics or\nproduction role, specifically handling shipping documentation and inventory\nmanagement.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly\nOneDrive for archiving and Teams for corporate communication. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Knowledge of seafood production terminology (e.g.,\nglazes, sujiko, WASS) and load planning is preferred. <\/span>

Work Environment and Schedule<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>
<\/p>

Some in\-person training be required but will be primarily remote. The\nwork schedule is highly dependent on processing but requires long hours &\nconstant availability during the processing season. Actual work hours will be\ndetermined by the Regional Logistics Coordinator.<\/span><\/span>
