Production Generalist - Block 3 - Sanitation
Hours & Schedule
- Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation (every other weekend off)
- *Training may contain working 3-6 weeks on the AM Shift*
Pay Range & Growth Opportunity
Pay Starting at $25.70/hour
Pay Premiums:
- $3.00 per hour for night shift hours (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- $2.25 per hour for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)

Job Summary
The Production Generalist is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards, supporting production processes, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment. This role performs thorough cleaning and sanitation of production equipment and facilities, including disassembly, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembly of machinery and systems used in production and packaging.
In addition to sanitation duties, the Production Generalist ensures adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines while completing required documentation, logs, and data entry across designated systems. This position requires a strong understanding of processing operations to make independent decisions that impact product quality and efficiency.
The Production Generalist also supports team operations by assisting in training new associates, providing backup coverage as needed, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and cost efficiency. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, following company policies, and obtaining necessary certifications are essential components of this role.
Qualifications & Requirements
High School or GED preferred.
Experience & Training
• Prior related work experience and/or training is required, typically a minimum of one (1) or more years is needed for obtaining the required skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Math, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to comprehend and follow technical instructions/policies/procedures in written, verbal, or diagram form.
