Production Intern
Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Intern to join Tetra Pak factory based in Spain, Arganda del Rey. This is a paid 6-month internship, contracted through the Business School or University agreement; therefore, a valid student status is a must for this position.
We are looking for a candidate who is an active university student and eligible to work for the entire duration of the internship.
What you will do
As a Production Intern at Tetra Pak (Arganda del Rey, Spain), you will:
- Manage documentation by creating and updating procedures, One-Point Lessons (OPLs), inspection standards, cleaning/inspection/lubrication (CIL) plans, quality matrices, and skills matrices.
- Support the AM Pillar by organizing good practices, preparing AM presentations, and maintaining the AM audits calendar.
- Participate actively in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities, including monitoring indicators, applying TPM methodologies, supporting internal and external audits, and assisting in daily management system (DMS) activities within the production cell.
- Update and maintain AM and 5S audit systems, assist operators with machine board revisions, and monitor improvements through tagging systems in SAP and Power BI.
- Collaborate with improvement groups using Kaizen methodology to identify and implement production enhancements.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of AM group meetings and audit sessions (internal and cross audits).
- Manage and update data in local factory applications such as FDM, CQC, SLC, SAP (labeling system), and Power BI dashboards.
- Provide training for temporary staff on the tagging and labeling system.
- Develop key skills throughout the internship, including teamwork, initiative, communication, self-learning, and presentation abilities.
We believe you have
- You are a Master's student in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Production, or a related field (active student status is required).
- You are fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Your MS Office skills are at an advanced level (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- You have good communication skills and are able to work independently as well as part of a team, with a structured and organized approach.
- You have basic project management skills and an understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of BI tools (such as Power BI) and SAP systems is considered a strong advantage.
- You are administrative, organized, systematic, consistent, and results-oriented with a strong personal drive.
