Production Manager (Medical Devices) - North
Our client is a well-established multinational company in the medical technology manufacturing industry, specializing in the development and production of high-quality medical devices for global markets. They are looking for a Production Manager to join their team. They are located in the (North) - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and operational strategies to meet business objectives.
- Monitor production performance, analyze variances, and drive corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and other production resources to support operational requirements.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing procedures.
- Oversee process transfers, equipment qualifications, validations, and implementation of manufacturing improvements.
- Track and improve key production metrics, including yield, output, on-time delivery, and operational costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals, resolve operational issues, and improve processes.
- Lead workforce development, safety initiatives, audit readiness, and production documentation to ensure a compliant and high-performing operation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing management within a regulated environment.
- Experience leading production teams and managing high-volume manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with production planning, quality systems, process validation, compliance requirements, and operational KPI management.
