Production Planner

Signage company looking for Production planner/ Installation planner.

Job Purpose

The Production Planner is responsible for compiling/filing all ongoing jobs in production, ensuring all materials are purchased and assigned to respective workers to fabricate and finish on time.

After which, arrange for delivery and installation.

Key Responsibilities

1) Develop a summary of works in production to have an overview.
2) Update and arrange manpower allocation to the respective jobs for fabrication with datelines.
3) Ensure all materials required for fabrication are procured.
4) QC and quantity check on completed signages/items to ensure it's correctly done.
5) Arrange for delivery and installation once signages are fabricated and QC checked.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track actual production progress against planned schedules.

Coordination & Documentation

  • Coordinate with project teams (designers, installers, fabricators etc)

Qualifications

  • ITE Cert or Diploma in relevant field

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project planning or scheduling roles (construction/M&E preferred).

Skills & Competencies

  • Experience in planning.

  • Good understanding of construction sequencing and site operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in MS Excel (charts, formulas, reporting).

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

  • Detail-oriented and systematic.

  • Able to work under tight deadlines.

  • Independent and proactive.
