Production Planner

As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in aligning demand and supply, optimizing production schedules, and supporting operational excellence. - Develop and maintain production schedules that balance customer demand, capacity, and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with supply chain partners to mitigate shortages or delays.
- Analyze demand forecasts and production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize inventory levels while maintaining service levels and minimizing waste.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, systems, and overall efficiency.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding schedule changes, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing or operations environment
- Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions
- Familiarity with planning tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or similar technologies
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
- Experience in a highly regulated or high-mix manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in using Oracle
- Comfort working with cross-cultural or global teams
- Curiosity and a growth mindset, with a willingness to explore new tools, processes, and ideas
Work Schedule: This is an on‑site, nonexempt, hourly position based on Long Island, New York. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift, with occasional overtime as business needs require.
Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 annually (equivalent to approximately $24.04 – $28.85 per hour), commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
