Production Section Leader

ob Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the schedule is followed, including timely start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
  • Monitor moulding parameters (temperature, pressure, curing time) and escalate abnormalities.
  • Maintain accurate production records and shift logs.
  • Conduct in‑process checks and ensure operators follow inspection standards.
  • Identify defects such as flash, short shots, burns, or incomplete curing and report to the Assistant Shift Supervisor.
  • Assist operators with basic troubleshooting of moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Supervise the receiving, handling, and feeding of raw materials into the production process to prevent contamination or waste.
  • Ensure all finished products adhere to quality specifications and standards.
  • Ensure proper inspection and quarantine of materials that fail to meet specifications.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (e.g., 5S activities)
  • Ensure all members utilize proper PPE and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • To implement all Environmental, Health and Safety programme to meet corporate ISO 14001 standards.
  • Work under the guidance of Managers to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner.
  • Any other duties assigned by Production Manager.

Requirements:

  • Secondary O Level and Above
  • 2 years of manufacturing plant experience
  • Experience handling raw materials in a manufacturing setting (e.g. chemical, metal).
  • PC Literate, Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong team management, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 15kg,
  • Able to commit 12 hours shift both alternate week of morning and night shift.

Salary range stated is basic pay. not included OT and other allowances. Any hours more than 40 hours a week will be paid as OT.
