Responsibilities Production Shift Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations during a designated shift, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met across the assigned lines. To ensure the right product quality in the market & that all production mechanical equipment is in the right condition to meet the good manufacturing practices and specifications To ensure people safety & compliance with H&S and GEHSMS standards To ensure the efficient and effective conversion of the credited raw materials to finished products, tracks key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets To monitor and lead good Quality Assurance, GMP, HACCP, Allergen, sanitation and housekeeping practices. He or she will ensure the hourly team clearly understands Quality requirements and takes appropriate action for Q.A. decisions To develop people and build talents (formal trainings, performance meetings, appraisals, coaching, motivation) so that they will be capable of producing the best product, in every bag and every bite & meet all the agreed KPI’s and human resources targets To oversee and assure facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime and confront all the possible fluctuations, serve as a liaison with other teams in co-ordinating workflows within the plant to ensure that the daily production schedule will be attained To give solutions, provide help and handle rising direct labour requests about whatever might cause a problem To identify opportunities for optimising production cost and optimising the existing processes To support the new production projects through organizing production trials, establishing SOPs and coordinate FLEs’ trainings In charge of scheduling the direct labour requirements weekly basis according to the sales demand To communicate all the production info & reports to all the other departments of the company Continuous Improve Performance through deployment of SETs, Specialists & Site Line leader Roles: Make sure that Critical Control Processes are in place and operating, implement best practices, deliver technical training and maintain control standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering/food science or equivalent 2-4 years’ experience in similar roles (operations, food industries) Results orientated & decision maker Computer proficiency (Excel-Word-PowerPoint) Developing and managing own agenda Demonstrated front-line supervisory skills Project management skills Language skills: Proficient level of English, proficient level of local language
