Production Supervisor

Reporting to the Operational Manager, the Production Supervisor will lead a dedicated team, to drive operational success, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. As the Supervisor, you will join a high-performing team at a modern, technologically advanced sawmill facility. You will work alongside your team to motivate and enhance their capabilities through effective performance management addressing key performance indicators, training, and team development. The salary range for this role will be $70,000 - $100,000.

• Lead and engage a high-performance team of 20-25 productions workers in achieving target performance indicators
• Ensure quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Monitor productivity throughout the shift and adjust tasks, resources, scheduling, or inputs so that production targets are met, and resources are used efficiently.
• Training and development for team members.
• Administrative support such as scheduling personnel, submitting weekly payroll, and daily reporting.

• Post-secondary degree/diploma/trade certification, preferably in industrial technology or engineering, forestry, business administration, or management would be an asset
• Ideal candidates will possess supervisory experience along with the demonstrated ability to lead a team.
• Experience working within an industrial or production environment is preferred.

• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Available to work flexible rotational day and night shifts
