Production Supervisor

PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry.

POSITION SUMMARY:
As our Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring and delegating daily production tasks, training new hires, continuous development and coaching of employees, tracking and reporting key performance indicators, communicating within the department and its various production lines. Our Production Supervisor reports directly to our Production Manager and/or Operations Manager and will directly supervise our Lead Production Technicians and Production Technicians to ensure daily goals are met and production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Pay range is $57,000 to $63,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for motivation, communication, and training of the production staff
• Lead team huddles to clarify goals and targets for the day
• Keep all production within compliance guidelines and regulations
• Drive production goals and streamline production processes
• Ensure tasks are being completed safely and per the SOP
• Communicate laterally with other management staff
• Communicate with upper management
• Provide any relevant company policy updates to staff
• Delegate daily tasks as required
• Recommend staff members for advancement or promotions
• Assist with interviews and hiring as needed at the discretion of the direct supervisor
• Work directly with operations leadership to establish schedules and timelines conducive to all parties
• Track and report weekly production totals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position directly supervises the work activities of others and makes recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal, and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
• Positive attitude, excellent communications skills, self-motivator, tenacious follow-up, and superior organization skills
• Ability to manage, coach, lead and inspire production staff of hourly associates
• Adept in Microsoft 365, primarily Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Ability to problem-solve, compromise and contribute to a positive work environment
• Address re-training requirements and coaching for production team members

Preferred Qualifications:
• Cannabis industry experience
• Experience in large-scale production with several different production lines and product types is a plus

This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).

Ability to work in an ever-changing environment.
