Program Applications Specialist (ADPAC)
The Dayton, Ohio VA Medical Center is looking for a Program Application Specialist that will support Surgical Services with a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare application support, clinical workflow processes, information security requirements, and program operations. Two (2) Page Resume Limit Applies for this Position.
Duties include but are not limited to the following: Analyzes user roles and coordinates access consistent with information security policies. Plans and validates system updates and enhancements impacting workflows. Develops downtime and recovery procedures to ensure continuity of operations. Conducts workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies and documentation gaps. Investigates and resolves recurring system and workflow issues. Develops and delivers training programs and user guidance materials. Coordinates onboarding, system access, and training for new staff. Prepares reports and recommendations for leadership on system performance. Monitors corrective actions and evaluates outcomes. Develops tracking tools and references materials for compliance and efficiency. Supports audits, projects, and program analysis activities.
