We\nprovide comprehensive services across prevention, care, support, and treatment,\nparticularly for those affected by HIV and other infectious diseases.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>YRGMERF\nis anticipating a project to strengthen the Urban Ecosystem Against Future\nDisease Threats by implementing a framework for urban\-peri\-urban coordination.\nThis project if commissioned will require a team of below positions to support\nthe coordination, implementation and monitoring of several components.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>The\nProgram Associate will be responsible for supporting the project activities in\ncoordination with stakeholders. Will report to City Coordinator based in\nBengaluru. Will work closely with other team members.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p> <\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>Project\nImplementation Support<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>- Will\nbe responsible to ensure that the staff are in the project are oriented on\ntheir duties and provided necessary guidance to carry out day to day tasks,\nreporting in designated formats.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures\nthat the baseline using secondary sources is completed on time and the report\nis prepared,<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures\nthe monthly deliverables are compiled in coordination with project staff,\nsupports in preparation of technical brief by designing them, reviewing the\ncontents and languages, supports in translation if any required.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures field visit reports are compiled\nin a timely manner and shared with city coordinator and project lead for\nreview, final submission and archiving is the key responsibility.<\/span><\/span><\/a>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures that the review meetings,\nstakeholder meetings and on\-line discussions are reported and reviewed for\nfinal sharing.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Supports in field documentation,\ntestimonial videos and other documentation related work by planning them in\nadvance, ensuring the plan is consulted with the stakeholders and donor.\nSupports in procurement and orientation of the resources if any, monitoring of\nthe deliverables and timely completion.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Supports in preparing monthly and\nquarterly workplan in coordination with field team, ensures monitoring the\nprogress and regular weekly updates with the State and National team.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures preparation of required\ndocuments for submission to the stakeholders and donor.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Reporting\nand Documentation<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>- Ensures that the innovation and best\npractices framework is prepared and discussed with the donor. Staff are\noriented on these frameworks so that they can document and share for review at\nthe State and National level. Targets for these will be worked out with the\nteam.<\/span><\/span><\/a>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensures that the various deliverables of\nthe project is shared with the relevant team members and subject experts well\nin time and those are finally reviewed at State and National level before\nsubmitted to the donor.<\/span><\/span><\/a>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Participates in field visits, for this\nif required supports in preparation of various tools that captures the project\nessence beyond data and figures.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul> <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>Qualifications and Experience<\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p> <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>Masters in Social Studies, or Population\nStudies with minimum 3 years' experience in managing documentation, project\nmanagement in Karnataka under NUHM, Urban Health, Disease Surveillance, One\nHealth Activities, National Vector Borne Control Program. Preference will be\ngiven to local candidates who understands and have worked in Karnataka Health\nSystems.<\/span><\/span> <\/p><\/div><\/span>
