Program Coordinator, Adult Services

Program and Role Summary:

Wayfinder’s Davidson Program for Independence at the Los Angeles campus is a comprehensive residential rehabilitation program for adults ages 18 and older who are blind or visually impaired, many with recent vision loss. Participants learn assistive technology, orientation and mobility, braille, and independent living skills. Each client pursues individualized goals that lead to a confident transition to an independent life and education or employment.

The primary focus of the Program Coordinator, Adult Services is to provide administrative and operational leadership for all Adult Services programs, streamline administrative processes, manage quality assurance and documentation systems, implement software integrations across programs, and ensure that all Adult Services initiatives operate efficiently and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create streamlined documentation and quality control processes for all Adult Services programs.
  • Coordinate quality assurance and compliance activities, including peer reviews, departmental goals, QA/QC reports, and internal audits.
  • Be responsible for student recruitment, application, coordination of activities to allow DPI to meet monthly census goals.
  • Develop and maintain a yearly transition event calendar with staff deadlines and student engagement goals.
  • Manage all grant reporting and compliance documentation.
  • Streamline processes for intake, placement, retention, and job coaching documentation.
