Job Summary

Job Summary: Our Program Coordinator will work with the NYREACH team to facilitate anddevelop workforce development initiatives as needed, create schedules, oversee progress andensure goals are met on time. He/she is also responsible for coordinating and attending meetings,developing project strategies, operating our WFD program, and providing all administrativeassistance as required.Minor Responsibilities: include supporting leadership with grant applications as needed.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information• Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes• Act as interdepartmental liaison to identify and define requirements, scope and objectivesfor assigned projects.• Assist with schedule management and outreach for WFD programs.• Adapt to the dynamic needs of project/program management.• Analyze risks and opportunities• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants• Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports• Ensure standards and requirements are met through quality assurance tests• Network with other organizations as related to WFD opportunities• Provide administrative assistance to your direct supervisor• Assist with developing applications for grant opportunities• Design, develop, and deliver trainings

Qualifications

Qualifications:• Proven work experience as a Program Coordinator or similar role• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery• An ability to prepare and interpret workflows, schedules and step-by-step action plans• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills—incl. communication and leadership• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control• Strong working knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel,Word, PowePoint and Visio as well as Canva.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectivelycollaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.• Detail-oriented and highly organized• Bachelors Degree – Public Health, Health Services Administration or related field.
