Program Coordinator (TOP Clubhouse)

Organization Overview: The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. We are two of New York City’s leading human services organizations meeting the needs of children, youth and families, homeless individuals, and older adults through-out Manhattan and New York City. Program Description: TOP Clubhouse is an evidence-based model that empowers individuals with a mental illness to focus on their own personal recovery goals through a holistic paradigm that integrates education, employment, and socialization. This unique model allows members to grow more confident in a range of tasks by working side-by-side with staff and other members. This model challenges the stigma around the client versus clinician relationship which is the more traditional model in many day programs. The clubhouse model considers staff and members as colleagues and every individual has unique talents and strengths that enhance our community.

Purpose of Position: TOP Clubhouse is seeking a dynamic individual who will work with the Program Director to ensure quality and integrity of the program. This person must be innovative, creative, proactive, and detailed-oriented, with excellent organizational skills that will promote a positive work environment. The Program Coordinator is responsible for integrating services, staff support, and assuming overall leadership of TOP Clubhouse in the absence of the Program Director.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some weekends and evenings required.

Salary Range: $52,020 - $58,000

Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.
