Retail Banking Sales & ServiceThe Program Lead, Business Banking Products & Employee Benefits Banking, is a senior execution leader responsible for bringing product strategy to life through scalable, market-ready programs that drive client acquisition, activation, and growth across employer and partner-enabled channels. Reporting to the Head, Business Banking Products & Employee Benefits Banking, this role sits at the intersection of Retail program management, commercialization, and distribution enablement. The Program Lead ensures that Business Banking and Employee Banking propositions are effectively activated through coordinated delivery across Product, Commercial Banking, Workplace Banking, Operations, and channel partners. This role does not own product strategy nor frontline sales execution. Instead, it is accountable for end-to-end program execution, ensuring strategies are translated into actionable frameworks, tools, and consistent in-market delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Execution & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end execution of Business Banking and Employee Banking programs from design through market delivery
- Establish the program’s roadmaps, milestones, and governance; manage risks, dependencies, and execution outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Risk, Credit, Operations, Analytics, Digital, Distribution) to ensure aligned, timely delivery
- Ensure programs are scalable, compliant, and aligned to enterprise operating models
Market Activation & Commercialization
- Translate product strategies into channel-ready offers, campaigns, and activation plans
- Partner with Commercial, Workplace Banking, and channel leaders on rollout strategies and execution priorities
- Ensure readiness across client journeys, onboarding, and servicing models
- Monitor performance and optimize activation based on conversion, engagement, and client behavior
Sales Program Enablement
- Equip frontline teams with clear product positioning, eligibility rules, and offer structures
- Partner with Analytics to define KPIs and performance dashboards that drive adoption and productivity
Cross-Functional Integration
- Serve as central coordination point across Product, Commercial Banking, Business Banking, and Workplace Banking
- Align product capabilities with execution requirements across onboarding, servicing, and operations
- Enable integration of Business Banking solutions into employer programs and partner ecosystems
Channel & Onboarding Enablement
- Support activation models across Financial Centers, Virtual Connect, and employer channels
- Optimize onboarding workflows for speed, simplicity, and compliance
- Standardize referral, warm introduction, and activation processes across lines of business
Salary:
$137,000.00 - $238,000.00Pay Type:
SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
