Objective of job

Lead end-to-end program management of driver assistance and automated driving & parking systems within the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) Domain, ensuring timely, cost-efficient, and quality-compliant delivery across the full development lifecycle.

Steer cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Purchasing, Controlling, Product Management, Aftersales, Legal, Regulatory, and other relevant functions to drive aligned decision-making, robust system integration, and successful feature roll-out.

Drive the execution and localization of ADAS and automated driving functions in China by defining strategies, processes, and lifecycle measures in alignment with company objectives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.

Act as the central interface between MBGC and MBAG to enable seamless coordination of global and local activities, securing consistent program execution and contributing to the realization of intelligent driving and parking solutions for the China market.

Main tasks

Steer core programs for driver assistance and automated driving & parking systems.
- Lead planning and execution across concept, development, validation, and launch.
- Align targets, milestones, deliverables, and risks with internal and external partners.
- Ensure transparent status, decisions, and escalations for stakeholders.

Cross-functional alignment\: Ensure transparency on program status, milestones, scope, and dependencies in line with the Plan of Records. Maintain core program documents and steering materials. Align targets, implementation plans, and business cases with internal functions and external partners.

Timeline and roll-out management\: Define and steer key milestones, align cross-platform and cross-carline timelines, and coordinate with R&D, Quality, and partners to secure release readiness and SOP / feature launch.

Processes setup\: Define and optimize processes, standards, and governance for driver assistance and automated driving & parking programs and support efficient coordination between German team and China.

Drive continuous improvement in program management, technical concepts, and cross-functional collaboration for driver assistance and automated driving & parking systems and EE-architecture.
