Background<\/span><\/u><\/b>
<\/p>

The Wadhwani Innovation Network (WIN) is dedicated\nto driving innovation, translation and entrepreneurship with a prime objective\nof fast\-tracking commercialization of academic research in cutting\-edge areas\nsuch as biotechnology, bioengineering, synthetic biology, healthtech,\nartificial intelligence, semiconductors, spacetech, advanced computing, quantum\ntechnology, critical minerals and mining.<\/span>
<\/p>

These transformative initiatives will be implemented\nthrough strategic partnerships with various academic institutions / incubators\n/ Government agencies such as AICTE (All India Council for Technical\nEducation).<\/span>
<\/p>

The Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC),\nin collaboration with AICTE, has established 13 Indovation Centers across the\ncountry to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education\ninstitutions. These Indovation Centers, operating in a hub\-spoke model, aim to\nfacilitate technology transfer, IPR, commercialization, and provide a one\-stop\nresource for information on innovation and startup schemes. The mission of the\nWadhwani Innovation Network \u2013 AICTE Indovation Center partnership is to accelerate\ninnovation and translate multi\-disciplinary research into new products and\nstartups.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>B.Tech. or MSc\n (engineering or science disciplines) or MBA<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span>

Desirable:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Additional\n qualification in management or law or patent agent.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span>
<\/p>

Experience:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>More\n than three years\u2019 experience in incubation, IP development &\n commercialization, technology transfer, business development etc. in a\n research or academic environment or in a technology transfer / incubator\n office/research park etc.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Deliverables:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordination\n of Innovation Programmes, stakeholder liaison, and HUB\-SPOKE operation plan\n implementation.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Carry\n out policy research, analysis and documents, development of reports<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Communication\n material development for IP and Technology transfer related activities.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Design\n and implement capacity building programs, trainings etc. on regular basis.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Handhold\n institutional resources for managing IPRs & Technology Transfer\n assignments in SPOKE institutions.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Support\n in market assessment of identified technologies, stakeholder mapping and\n coordination.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Build\n and manage IP repository, technology compendium development at the centre\n level.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Innovation\n and entrepreneurship promotion and development in HEIs.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Streamlining\n incubation and pre\-incubation system in HEIs<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist\n the manager and handhold Innovation fellow and other team members at the Center.<\/span>
