This position is with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM),Mission Support Facilities (MSF) Division. MSF Division provides the facilities and associated infrastructure, facilities management, and sustainment to support CBP mission support office operations. As stewards of a large national portfolio of General Services Administration-owned and CBP-owned infrastructure, MSF carefully balances resources to ensure the right facilities are planned and delivered at the right time to meet mission requirements. This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10). GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. Major duties for this position include: Overseeing a program segment that performs professional, technical, or administrative work. The incumbent is responsible for administrative activities relating to programming, financial management, budget planning, project control, logistics management, purchasing of supplies and equipment, personnel management, performance management, and execution of MSF's organizational strategies that have an impact on plans, milestones, and processes. The program services provided have a significant impact on a substantial part of the program segment. Maintaining contact and liaison with appropriate persons to maintain awareness of policies, regulations, and technological changes, equipment, through the initial planning, funding and scope development stages. Assuring implementation by organization(s) and operating units of the goals and objectives of the program(s). Providing guidance and support in developing and maintaining sound organization structures, improving management methods and procedures, ensuring the effective use of non-personnel resources, and proposing solutions to management problems that may have an impact on employees.
