Program Specialist, Clinical Quality
Location: Indianapolis, IN
This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Program Specialist is responsible for providing administrative, project coordination, and program support for Clinical Quality initiatives and related business priorities for and/or on behalf of the Health Plan. This role supports quality improvement activities, initiative portfolio tracking, leadership coordination, RFP-related work, documentation, reporting, and project deliverables across Clinical Quality and aligned enterprise workstreams.
How you will make an impact:
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, trackers, and status reports for projects that support the quality strategy and related business priorities.
- Provide administrative and project coordination support for Clinical Quality initiatives, including the Whole Health workstream, Corporate Investments funding activities, Transformation Office priorities, and Strategic Portfolio Office deliverables.
- Assist with initiative portfolio tracking by maintaining documentation, monitoring action items, tracking milestones, and following up on deliverables across multiple workstreams.
- Ensures integration of quality into the overall business process by supporting documentation, coordination, and communication across internal teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor activities to help ensure project objectives are met within established time frames and budgets.
- Assist with RFP, bid, and rebid activities by coordinating Quality-related inputs, tracking timelines, organizing documentation, and supporting related deliverables.
- Support Clinical Quality Program documentation to meet regulatory, accreditation, Quality Improvement, and internal business requirements.
- Conduct accurate and complete analysis of clinical, quality, operational, and project-related data and assist with presentation of results.
- Schedule, coordinate, and support meetings, including preparing agendas and materials, capturing notes, tracking decisions, and following up on action items.
- Support management in overall objectives, including assessing costs and savings, preparing leadership materials, and maintaining visibility into key priorities and deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires 2 years of health care quality, administrative support, project coordination, data analysis, or related health care experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Experience providing executive-level administrative, project coordination, or program support in a matrixed organization preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, meetings, and deliverables is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams is preferred.
- Experience maintaining project trackers, status reports, action item logs, meeting materials, and documentation preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and follow-through is preferred.
- Experience supporting RFPs, initiative portfolios, or cross-functional business projects preferred.
