Program Specialist

This Program Specialist position is located in Chief of Staff/Office of the Executive Secretariat, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Reviews and manage complex correspondence and documents received by the Executive Secretariat, determining the appropriate office and review level in accordance with TSA policies and procedures. Oversee the full task life cycle in Controlled Correspondence Management System (CCMS) from receipt and routing to clearance, signature, and delivery, coordinating with internal and external contacts to ensure accurate interpretation and application of relevant policies. Monitor and manage the Administrator's high priority taskings in CCMS and Excel trackers, coordinating with program offices, and escalating issues to ensure timely completion of correspondence. Review sensitive and potentially controversial materials from Department of Homeland Security, other agencies, the White House, or Congress, coordinating with program offices, and ensuring responsive, properly cleared, and timely replies. Draft and edit high-quality written products that clearly convey the Agency's position on transportation security issues, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with the TSA Style Guide.

You must possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National. You must have reached the minimum age (18) at the time of application. You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI). Selective Service registration is required. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
