Program Support Services Specialist
This position is located in the Office Administrative Services and Contracts ("Office"), Office of Deputy Chairman for Management and Budget, National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). The incumbent serves in a developmental capacity providing administrative and program support across a range of functions including space management, property accountability, facilities coordination, records management, and general administrative operations.
In this position, you will serve as Program Support Services Specialist. Typical work assignments include: - Maintain records for space and facilities programs, including space and parking assignments, repairs, renovations, storage areas, and agency inventory. - Coordinate meeting and conference room scheduling and setup, ensuring room layout and audio visual support meet customer needs. - Update and maintain property inventory databases, tracking accountable assets such as equipment and furniture and applying property labels as needed. - Support emergency preparedness as alternate Floor Warden by maintaining contact lists and assisting evacuations, drills, and continuity activities. - Serve as liaison to the managed security provider by issuing temporary access cards, coordinating activation, responding to status calls, and tracking access activity. - Provide administrative support for mail, supplies, keys, printing, mobile devices, and office moves, including checklists, logistics, and staff communications. - Prepare draft recurring and ad hoc reports and assist with procurement requests, work orders, reimbursable agreements, and basic contract administration tracking.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 You may be required to serve a probationary period.
