Programme AYSRH&D Adaptation Officers

The SBCC & Adaptation Officer provides technical leadership and\nhands\-on technical assistance (TA) to strengthen government and community\nsystems for sustainable demand generation (DG), social and behaviour change\ncommunication (SBCC), and adaptive implementation of proven A360 innovations.\nThe role supports state and local governments to institutionalise multi sectoral DG systems that improve equitable access to quality SRH, MNCH and holistic girl\ncapital outcomes for adolescents and young women.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Operationally,\nthe Officer drives integration of DG within health and non\-health MDAs,\nfacilitates human\-centered design (HCD)\u2013aligned adaptations, strengthens\nroutine data use, builds capacity of government counterparts, and supports\nstrategic coordination for scale and sustainability.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

The Officer leads and coordinates TA and implementation across six broad\ntechnical areas:<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

1.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Government\n& Community Systems Strengthening for Demand Generation<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

2.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Adaptive\nImplementation and Innovation (HCD\-Aligned)<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

3.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Holistic\nGirl Capital Data Management, Analysis & Use<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

4.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Capacity\nBuilding, Mentorship & Performance Tracking<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Requirements<\/h3>
  • BSc. /BA degree in Comms,\n Health Management, Social Sciences or related fields. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • An\nobservable commitment to professional improvement will be an added advantage<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • 3 years\u2019 experience<\/span><\/span> in an equivalent role with progressively\nincreasing responsibility in a fast\-paced working environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Knowledge\n of national SRH and RMNCH+N strategies and familiarity with the northern\n context.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Demonstrated experience in community systems strengthening\n with skills in stakeholders\u2019 engagement.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Understanding of the Human Centred Design\nprinciples.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
