Programme Coordinator (Part-Time / Hourly Rated)

Location: 4S Active Ageing Centre @ Eunos Crescent

Employment Type: Part-Time

Salary:

  • Part-Time (22 hours per week): $1,100 – $1,500 per month, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience; or
  • Hourly Rated: $12 – $15 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments to support the development and enhancement of programmes and activities for seniors.
  • Conduct outreach activities to engage seniors, community partners and stakeholders.
  • Plan, organise and facilitate programmes, activities and outings based on the needs and interests of seniors.
  • Coordinate with external organisations, service providers and community partners for the implementation of programmes.
  • Develop programme materials, publicity content and informational resources for seniors and volunteers.
  • Guide and support volunteers in the execution of programme activities.
  • Manage communications and feedback from seniors, caregivers, volunteers and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service enhancement projects.
  • Prepare programme reports and provide updates to the supervisor.
  • Provide administrative and reception support, including managing incoming calls, walk-in enquiries and programme registrations.
  • Assist in contacting and inviting seniors to participate in programmes and activities.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock-taking of programme supplies and equipment.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Higher Nitec, Diploma, or currently pursuing studies in Community Care, Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Business Administration, Event Management, Communications or related disciplines.
  • Passionate about serving seniors and contributing to community-based services.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organised, responsible and willing to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior volunteer, community service or programme coordination experience will be an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Part-Time: Up to 22 hours per week; or
  • Flexible hourly arrangement based on operational needs and mutual agreement.
