Programme Executive (Seniors)

The Programme Executive will be responsible for developing and coordinating programmes, engaging seniors through meaningful activities, and managing volunteers who support the centre's initiatives. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, programme coordination abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments and analyse feedback to identify the interests and needs of seniors.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate programmes and activities for seniors based on identified needs and interests.
  • Build rapport with seniors and provide social and emotional support through programme engagement and home visits.
  • Administer programme evaluations, collect feedback, and compile survey findings for reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train, deploy, and retain volunteers to support the centre's programmes and activities.
  • Organise volunteer onboarding, orientation, and training sessions.
  • Plan and facilitate volunteer engagement initiatives, including huddle sessions and appreciation activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases relating to seniors' participation and volunteer engagement.
  • Monitor and review volunteers' training needs and development plans.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal departments, community partners, and external stakeholders to support programme implementation.
  • Assist in administrative duties and undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor.


Requirements

  • Diploma in Social Work, Community Development, Social Sciences, or related disciplines. Candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Preferably with experience in programme planning, volunteer management, community work, or senior services.
  • Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to engage seniors and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Passionate about serving seniors and contributing to community development.
