Programme Gender, Girl Capital and Adaptation Manager

  • The Lead \- Gender,\n Girl Capital and Adaptation provides strategic leadership and technical\n expertise to mainstream gender equity across SFH's programming, advances\n girl capital development initiatives, and drives adaptive management\n processes that strengthen programme quality and impact. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • The position holder\n serves as the organisation's subject matter expert on gender analysis, human\-centred\n design, behavioural change, and adaptive programme management, while\n building internal and partner capacity to implement gender transformative,\n girl\-centred interventions. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • The role requires a\n highly analytical professional with deep expertise in gender studies,\n proven experience leading human\-centred design programmes, exceptional\n research translation skills, and strong training and coaching capabilities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Experienced working with governments in a technical\n advisory role, especially in the use of programme learnings, research, or\n other communications materials for policymakers.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Experience working with donors (including multi\-lateral,\n bi\-lateral, foundations, etc.).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Demonstrable experience in providing technical\n assistance, including capacity assessment, training, coaching and\n mentorship.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to generate outcomes beyond the focused\nprogramme through strategic collaborations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    The requirements for this role are detailed as follows:

    <\/span><\/span><\/div>
    • Master\nof Science (MSc) in Gender Studies, Gender and Development, or a closely\nrelated field <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Bachelor's\ndegree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Certifications on Project\nManagement<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • At least 10 years\u2019 experience working in the public health or\ndevelopment space, with the last three in a managerial role.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in advocacy and citizens engagement, and skills transfer on\nHCD will be an added advantage.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
