Programme Manager - Bhumi Fellowship

The Bhumi Fellowship aims to create young changemakers in\neducation.
<\/div>
Integrating whole school transformation is at the heart of the Bhumi\nFellowship. Fellows assist teachers, school officials, and parents in\nsupporting the holistic development of children.
<\/div>
In the next decade, we aim to impact the lives of one million children through\nthe Bhumi Fellowship.
<\/div>
The person will be responsible for a cluster of fellows and their schools.

Roles & Responsibilities of Programme Manager:<\/b>
<\/div>
  • Coach Fellows to achieve\nwhole\-school outcomes, such as student learning, teacher, and school leader\ndevelopment.<\/a>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Empower Fellows by developing their skills and\ncompetencies through regular learning and development spaces
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Build partnerships with stakeholders including the school\nmanagement, the government and donors to ensure the long\-term sustainability of\nour efforts
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Contribute to broader fellowship priorities\nsuch as fellow recruitment and selection, strategy, donor reporting and\nexpansion<\/a>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:<\/b>
    <\/div>
    • Experience of managing people / projects
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Teaching and/or content creation experience is desirable
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Any Graduate, post\-graduate or fellowship
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in managing/designing a fellowship would be an\nadvantage
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<\/b>
      <\/div>
      • Prior experience teaching in a formal classroom & an\nability to coach people to be exceptional teachers
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to design and drive outcome\-oriented plans\nthrough the team\u2019s collective effort
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to design and facilitate adult learning spaces
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to gather and analyse data to inform decisions
        <\/span><\/li>
      • A good understanding of the education ecosystem including\npolicies, curriculum frameworks and functioning of school systems.
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (and\nTamil would be an advantage)
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Good computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Emotional maturity to work with the perspectives and needs\nof diverse team members
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Highly resourceful team\-player, who is also self\-driven.
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities\nand proposes solutions
        <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        • Designation: Assistant Programme Manager to Programme Manager,\nbased on the candidate's profile
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Reporting to: Associate Director, Bhumi Fellowship
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Remuneration: Rs.6\-9 LPA, negotiable based on the\ncandidate\u2019s profile
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Expected Joining Date: Immediate
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Location: Coimbatore (1), experience in STEM and middle school.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Minimum commitment: Three years
